▪ Strategic planning for developing new sales pipeline

▪ Generate new business opportunities with new clients in Japan and turn this into increased revenue

▪ Manage a portfolio of key clients, identify the key decision makers and continuously improve client relationships

▪ Provide exceptional service and consultation to all clients

▪ Work with internal stakeholders with estimating and quoting jobs and projects for clients

▪ Respond to and manage all client inquiries

▪ Conduct planned face-to-face client meetings

▪ Understand and manage client requirements and job scope (may include regional travel)

▪ Prepare and lead tailored presentations and demonstrations to clients on the Company’s solutions and services that meet or predict their current and future needs

▪ Develop in-depth knowledge of our products, services, and the local market conditions and consult with clients regarding solutions we can provide

▪ Attend relevant industry related trade shows and conferences and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends

▪ Present to and consult with internal management on business trends with a view to developing new products and services as well as partnership opportunities and execution models

▪ Identify opportunities for new initiatives, services, and channels that will lead to an increase in sales

▪ Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators

▪ Communication and coordination with other teams – client services, supply chain and logistics, purchasing, finance, technical support and digital production etc – to ensure the ability to deliver on client requirements

▪ Maintain and develop relationships with agencies, partners, competitors, subcontractors, and suppliers

▪ Submit weekly progress reports and ensure the accuracy of data

▪ Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team

▪ Present business development training and mentoring to other internal team members

▪ Understand the company’s goals and purpose with the aim of enhancing the teams’ and the overall company’s performance



▪ Tertiary degree preferred with 5+ years’ experience in a sales or marketing role

▪ Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to handle customer complaints and solve problems

▪ Strong working understanding in business operations and the systems & processes to support these

▪ Experience managing large scale key accounts and the end to end delivery of solutions for those customers (e.g. pre-sales strategy, solution deployment project planning, service & support model, invoicing process, etc)

▪ Passionate about improving client relationships

▪ Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills

▪ Fluent oral & writing ability in both Japanese & English languages

▪ Proactive, ambitious, innovative and driven

▪ Entrepreneurial mindset

▪ Excellent negotiation skills

▪ High attention to detail

▪ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

▪ Must be a hands-on person, willing to get involved and learn all aspects of the business

▪ Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

▪ Strong leadership qualities with ambitions to lead and develop teams

▪ Experience in the digital signage or software, consumer electronics and solutions, signage and/or marketing industries in the Japan market preferred
